Bridget found this incredible piece of theatre history from France, a very special Kokoshnik-shaped antique headdress. It's from around 1880 and is filled with different sizes of also different coloured rhinestones. The headband is adjustable at the back These items are very difficult to find especially in this good condition. The ones which survived time in good condition usually are ending up in Museums. These headdresses were worn by famous actresses in those days, actresses like Sarah Bernhardt, who posed in her famous Mucha film posters. A very collectable museum piece that is still in wearable condition.
