US$795.00
Item number: DIV-1531

A rare and beautifully detailed antique European silver perfume or vinaigrette bottle, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. This charming miniature flask is richly decorated and fitted with large faceted rock crystal windows on both sides, allowing the contents to be viewed—an elegant and luxurious feature.

The silver body is finely chased with scrolling designs and figural decoration, including cherubs and mythological figures. The hinged lid is topped with a sculptural figure of a man wrestling a lion, most likely depicting Hercules and the Nemean Lion, a classic symbol of strength and triumph. The bottle rests on four small lion feet, giving it a strong and sculptural presence.

The foot and base are further enhanced with cut rock crystal elements. The hinged lid opens and closes properly and functions well. The craftsmanship and detailing are excellent throughout.

Height: 13 cm (approximately 5.1 inches)

A highly decorative and uncommon antique silver object, perfect for collectors of antique perfume bottles, vinaigrettes, or fine European silver. A striking display piece for a vitrine or silver collection.
