Bridget's Cabinet was able to get its hands to some original items from the Folie Bergerès stockroom, these items come from the collection of a former director of the famous French Folies Bergeres Theater from Paris. One of these items is this beautiful 1940's Stage Geisha wig. the wig is made by the House of Damaret from Spain who designed these wigs, especially for this Folie Bergeres show. it is one of a collection of 4 wigs. Damaret is designing theatre wigs since the 1920s. I am not 100% sure but the wig is probably made out of horsehair, inside there is a metal frame and has been covered with a sort of coating.

On the inside you will find the original tag, it is used in a theatre show and that's why it has user spurs but that makes it even more beautiful we think and the fact the wig is still in very good condition.

For collectors who love to collect Antique and vintage theatre pieces, this is a gem.
